This series focuses on the initial stages of large-scale residential developments on the outskirts of Spanish cities, where housing expansion precedes the existence of urban infrastructure.

Photographed in Seseña, the buildings stand apart from services and context, shaped by economic pressure more than by an established community.

The work looks at how these peripheral landscapes begin: architecture ahead of the city, open ground waiting for a life that has not yet arrived.
