The images move through landscapes where water is redirected, contained or redefined. Canals, basins and regulated ground show how systems alter the land, openly or in small details.
The work examines the structures built around water. Natural process and human intervention are often difficult to separate in these places.
The pictures treat water as part of economic and political decisions, not as a neutral element in the landscape.
